I set the receiver to record PS (mpeg) and still recorded TS, why?

Receivers allow you to record two types of files. Recording of all the data in the format TS (transport stream) or an abbreviated version, only the default sound and video in PS (program stream).

We recommend using the TS format, which records the audio soundtracks, video, subtitles and teletext.

After selecting the PS you are recorded in a file format mpeg-2. However, due to the amount of information to be processed, this function works correctly only for free to air channels broadcast in MPEG-2. In any other case it will be automatically recorded complete information in the format TS.
